The brief: Design a website for Bradford-based builder, AUP Building Maintenance
The colours used in this web design are specifically chosen to complement the existing logo and greys are used prominently to symbolise the colours of cement. Strong images of construction are used to grab the attention of the visitors and a simple "overlay" is used as the background to the written content. The site is simple to navigate and the contact details are clearly visible from every page.

This design is simple yet eye-catching. The website is easy to navigate and the imagery used immediately confirms to visitors that they are on the site of a handyman. Hard lines and bold colours complement the services which the site is promoting.

The design is simple yet striking, and for the body of the page colours were taken from the main image, which creates a sense of cohesion. The imagery re-affirms to the visitor what they find attractive about working in Spain.

Know How Art needed a simple content management system (CMS) which they could manage themselves. The design uses simple shades and clean lines so as not to detract from the images of the street art.

Folklaw is a production company which showcases folk artists in the North-East. The site uses images which reflect the rawness of folk music and the colours are mostly greens and browns, which provide an organic and natural feel.

Space Maker
The brief: Take the existing Space Maker website and set it up on a new hosted platform
Space Maker in Leeds approached Basic Website Builder when their original hosting company went into liquidation. They asked for a copy of their site to be rescued and placed onto a new hosted platform within two days. Basic Website Builder delivered on time and there was a seamless transition which prevented Space Maker from losing a lot of money due to down-time.
